Approximately 80 to 85% of the population have dysfunctional feet that do not properly support the weight of their body. This can lead to foot pain, bunions, calluses, plantar fasciitis, and heel spurs and can contribute to or worsen ankle pain, knee pain, hip pain, and low back pain. Orthotics provide support you can insert into your footwear to help relieve pain. At Ginger’s, we do a detailed lower extremity examination to evaluate your needs.
After diagnosing your biomechanical condition, Ginger takes a three-dimensional mold of your feet in a foam box and sends it to an orthotics manufacturer to construct your custom orthotics. In many cases, your extended benefits may cover orthotics. We will provide all the necessary paperwork to submit the claim to your insurance.
Please note: your insurance company will require a referral from your physician with a relevant diagnosis to support your need for orthotics. We suggest that you check with your insurer to make sure you know what the requirements are before attempting to submit the claim.
When you contact Ginger's Physiotherapy Place, you'll be greeted by a friendly and professional staff member. We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have and help you book an appointment that works for your schedule.
